Just saw Junip together with Woodpigeon at the XOYO here in London. Woodpigeon opened up the evening with a fantastic solo show. He looped his guitar parts on the fly and then played new parts over the top. Really good songs and entertaining performance. I bought his latest album - but was a bit disappointed.. live he was so much better. Then Junip - again I found their new album a bit plain on first listen but live .. amazing! Fantastic sound and really intimate performance. Great night - don't miss them if you get a chance.
